#2 Feeding the prairie dogs comes in second. This little guy turned around to get his picture taken. |
#5 This photo was taken during our weekend paddling excursion, just after the sun came out. It was a fun was to experience the center from a new perspective and try out one of the many activities it offers.
#6 I was blown away with the beauty of the Oak Motte trail. The wildflowers were in full bloom everywhere. In this picture, you can see how they lined the path.
#7 The bluebonnets on the Oak Motte path also grew along the path. I wish I got a better picture, I was just too caught up trying to get video footage and soaking it all in.
#8 This photo was also taken on the Canyon Ridge trail, right where the path opened up to reveal the lake. I remember all of us stopping to take a picture because it was a great view.
#9 This might not be the most aesthetic photo, but it captures our hard work cutting privet. It represents a productive day where we got a lot done and played a small part in helping to preserve the center.
#10 Helping the team at the Nature Center catch and measure a gator is definitiely a moment I'll never forget. It is one of those experiences that will stick with me when I think back on my college days.

Great photos, and I agree--the first is the best.
